Walking through the old center of Sevilla, I found myself drawn to the incredible patterns, colors and textures that covered the building walls down each famously narrow street. I started shooting with no real idea of why but it felt like an exciting treasure hunt; to discover what beauty could be found in details of old and bad paint jobs, graffiti and peeling posters, decaying stucco, and crumbling stone.

Layers of history and the daily life of a city and its inhabitants on display on every otherwise unnoticeable street corner.
